We are honored our entry has won the third prize in the SolidWorks and Mako Boardsports jetboard travelcase designcontest.
The concaved triangular kevlar/carbonfiber shape provides maximum strength and stiffness to protect the jetboard from impact from all sides. The symmetric design ensures a very cost efficient single mold production. Saltwater-proof materials and smart details like Goretex vents, Aerocatch locks and integrated roofrack strap tunnels make it a durable and quality product.

A very pleasant surprise at the Good Industrial Design award show at the Dutch Design Week: the eeeeFUN scooter won one of the exclusive Special Awards for Excellence - the originality category! We feel very honoured and this award is a big compliment for the whole team who put a lot of time, effort and passion into the design and development of the scooter.

Rob Wolkers and eeeeFUN Company convinced the international expert jury of the Red Dot Award Product Design 2012. After an evaluation process lasting several days, it received one of the coveted awards, assigned by a 30-member expert jury. Creative heads and manufacturers from all over the world had submitted 4,515 designs altogether to the renowned product competition. With its high design quality, the eeeeFUN electric scooter could inspire the experts. It received the globally sought-after red dot for its fine design language in the vehicle & transportation category:
"Individuality, eco-friendliness, smart details – this electric scooter features all desirable attributes of a contemporary two-wheeler for a younger target group. The jury likewise found the scooter’s LED illumination concept to be convincing."

It's a new top level exam for Certified Professionals (with at least three advanced certifications) only. At this time, only 75 people worldwide are qualified to take the exam.
